Limited Edition STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS Ahsoka Tano with Rotta Maquette (Gentle Giant)

This is Gentle Giant’s limited edition Ahsoka Tano with Rotta Maquette based on the character as she appears in Star Wars: The Clone Wars .

Character backstory:

Ahsoka Tano is depicted by Gentle Giant Ltd poised to strike her opponents as she safeguards Rotta (Jabba’s son); tucked away in her backpack.

Features:

  • Limited edition of only 1,300 pieces
  • Stands approximately 7.25 inches displayed on its base.

Ahsoka Tano is assigned to be Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan. She graduated to Padawan at an early age, in part, as an effort by Master Yoda to teach her new Master, Anakin Skywalker, a greater sense of responsibility, but it was also necessitated by the Clone Wars. Regardless the reason for her advancement, Ahsoka remained eager, almost overly so, to prove herself worthy of her status as a Padawan.

These are quite a rare collectible and are difficult to find. There are only two available (via Ebay) that I can find at the time of this post:

STAR WARS 501st Legion Clone Trooper ArtFX Statue

Here’s a chance to get 37% off Kotobukiya’s 501st Legion Clone Trooper ArtFX statue. These are normally $79.99 but right now you can snap one up for $50.

The statue is a 1:10 scale (7 inch) statue that comes fully detailed with armor and weapons.

It also features multiple arm and leg parts allowing you to post the statue in a variety of ways.

This ArtFX statue has to be assembled, but it’s a snap-fit kit that is easy to put together. It’s already pre-painted and does not require glue or modelling skill.

This seriously has to be one of the coolest collectibles coming in 2013.

It’s Gentle Giant’s Limited Edition STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS Darth Maul Spider Statue and it’s frakkin awesome looking!

Backstory:

After surviving his bisection at the hands of Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Darth Maul managed to find his way to the junk planet of Lotho Minor. There, he slowly succumbs to insanity while assembling a terrifying chassis designed to resemble spider legs from scrap metal. It is almost a decade before his brother, Savage Oppress, finds him and reintroduces his evil to the Galaxy…

The statue is hand painted and hand crafted from the highest quality polystone.

Each piece comes individually numbered with a matching certificate of authenticity. I’m not sure of how many limited editions will actually be released. It seems that info is hard to find.

Measures 14 1/2-inches tall, making it one of the largest statues Gentle Giant has ever made.

You can pre-order this right now and you’ll find quite a few places to do it. But you’ll also find the prices are all over the place too.

From what I’ve seen it ranges between $300 and $500, depending on where you look. I’ll give you a few links if you want to check that out for yourself, but I can tell you Ebay is the clear winner in the price battle, by an arm and a robotic spider leg:

STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS Darth Maul Spider Statue (Entertainment Earth, $399.95)

STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS Darth Maul Spider Statue (Amazon, $439.95)

This is definitely one that’s going in my Star Wars statue collection.

This Star Wars: The Clone Wars R2-D2 Monument Statue is an amazing 1:1 scale replica of R2-D2 from Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

If you’re a Star Wars fan this R2-D2 is unmatched in the level of authenticity. The piece is handcrafted by the artisans at Gentle Giant based on the digital models from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series.

Each 1:1 scale resin R2-D2 stands 3-feet tall and comes with a hand-numbered edition plaque.

Release date is October 31, 2012 but you can pre-order it now.
